Apparently they require some sort of adapter? I don’t think those will work, or that’s what I’ve heard anyway.

No, just remove your socks and put these on, inside you can put filter cloth and biomedia

I’m going to call BRS tomorrow, when I emailed Trigger they said there was only one company that makes them or they could make me a plate? They didn’t give me a price though.

You might be able to find silicone cups.
What I have seen people do on R2R is cut the sock off of their filter sock and glue the ring onto the cup of their choice, some kind of soft bottle, and drill holes in it.

These dont work because trigger sumps have oval holes, those you pointed out would leak and not provide a good seal in a oval hole.

Trigger referred me to filter media.com. They said that they have cups that fit? I wonder if anybody out there has tried them? I’d hate to order three of them with three adapters and they not fit.

I spoke with them through email and had them send me a new plate that was supposed to be for 4 inch socks for my CR44. The plate they sent me has bigger holes that the original and as apposed to having to squeeze the cups or socks to get them on, they fall through the holes.

The Filter media ones do work you have to squeeze them to fit. I also tried the Ice Cap ones but they are harder plastic and harder to squeeze to make them fit

Filter media.com said their plastic socks will work with a adapter? I emailed them back to ask them a couple of more questions before I bought them and they won’t respond now? I need to know for sure if they’re going to fit before I buy them? I’m starting to think that it’s just not going to happen

I don't remember how much it cost. This is the filter media cup that is smaller than the holes in the new plate.

As popular and as well-built as these sumps are it’s mind blowing to me that we cannot use a plastic filter sock in these
