Trigger Ruby E30 under RSM E260

Looking for ideas on how best to plumb my new Trigger Ruby E30 to my existing Red Sea Max E260. I did not purchase the plumbing kit from Red Sea that they offer for the optional in cabinet sump. And obviously did not buy their optional in cabinet sump. I have been running the tank with the rear sump and am looking forward to removing those components and having a refugium sump below. I have been trying to find information about the size of the bulkheads located in the bottom of the skimmer section of the rear sump without any success. Also, should the refugium be fed from the return pump or the drain from the display? I have never installed a sump and am a little lost. Does anyone have any experience with this tank and trying to install an in cabinet sump without using Red Sea plumbing? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks. I went to Lowes, local lfs, and ags to buy miscellaneous parts...in the process of figuring it out. Which may be the way to get it right for my set up.
Still open for suggestions though.

Update: I had to order the plumbing kit that Red Sea sells for the sump upgrade. RSM has a multi-port bulkhead in the rear sump under the stock protein skimmer that seems impossible to remove. It is apparently a proprietary component. As well as the plumbing kit that connects to it. I was able to plumb the Trigger Ruby 30 by cutting the main drain pipe below the control valve on the main drain. Then, using Oatey Fusion glue, I glued a 1" 90° fitting to that. The main drain pipe is actually 32mm plumbing. The E-drain and the return plumbing pipe is 25mm. You could possibly order the metric plumbing. But I don't see any way to avoid using their plumbing kit because of the way the plumbing penetrates the bulkhead. I am not a plumber or experienced with aquarium plumbing so perhaps someone out there knows if they are just metric threads on the bulkhead. The pipe work isn't pretty, but highly functional. Hope this helps anyone who runs into this issue.
