Trigger system Ruby 36E

I have a custom made 36E. I wonder if anyone has this sump and has issues with the refugium light going into the return section. I’m wondering if I should add a plate of black acrylic to stop the light from going into the other section. Any ideas would be great thanks in advance.

thats a really nice sump. I see what you are saying about the clear acrylic. I would think it a good idea, but I don’t know exactly how they are set up so we will se if any other trigger users around

I have the same sump. I was experiencing some algae growth in my return section, but nothing too extreme. I was contemplating using a piece of coroplast between the 2 sections when I set my tank back up.
