Hey all. Just though I would share some pics of the Trigger Systems CRYS30S i will be using on a 40 Breeder Build.
Demensions: 30"long x 12" wide x 15" high
Drain/Skimmer Section 11" x 12"
Center/Refugium Section: 9.5" x 12"
Return Pump Section: 6" x 12"
Skimmer Water Level: 9.5" Fixed

I went with this sump for a few reasons. First, i liked that they made the drain section big enough to accomodate a skimmer. ( micro bubbles furthest away from return pump) i will be using a Bubble Magnus Curve 5 in this section. Secondly you will notice there is no bubble trap going into the refugium section. Trigger systems cut an elongated hole about half way up in the acrylic wall seperating the drain/ refugium section. Most of the micro bubbles from the skimmer will rise to the top of the water surface and pop before they get a chance to enter the refugium section. ( also saves space eliminating the bubble trap) I also liked what they did with the bubble trap ( so to speak) between the refugium and return pump section. There is a place underneath the black foam filter media to place carbon/ Chemi-Pure/ or other media bags in the direct flow path of the sump. I seached long and hard to find a sump to fit my needs and I think this is the icing on the cake. Simplistic, yet smart in design.
