Is that a Humma Humma Trigger? They aren't reef safe... and what size is your tank? No offense but you look way over-stocked. With that said, I can't tell what size your tank is. Just based on my opinion by the pics, and also I'd say too many Triggers.

Yes it is Huma Huma, no I have had no problems with him messing with anything. Tank size is 72g bowfront

OK....tank is 72 gallon bowfront, I have a 15 or 20g sump running LRR and Cheato. I also have a Fluval 403 running my uv sterilizer and carbon. Top Fathom Skimmer, Corallife Pro single 250w HQI Mh with 2x65w actinic's.

Fish:

Types of Triggers: Huma Huma, Pink tail, Blue Throat
3 false perc's
1 flame angel
4 neon gobies
2 pigmy gobies
1 lawnmower blenny
1 purple tang
1 Melanarus Wrasse
1 sand sifting starfish
1 Serpant starfish
about 50 hermits and 50 snails
1 Tigertail Cucumber
2 Skunk cleaner shrimp
and I think that's it.

I think the that many triggers are definitely too much for a 72. I have a purple tang and foxface in my 75 and they are getting too big already.

I have no doubts that a tank upgrade is inevitable at this point. I did pick all of my fish at extremely small sizes. But still they grow.

your list indicates 3 triggers, yet in your first pic i see 5.

yes...way way way overstocked imho.

72g is to small for most triggers IMO. Way overstocked. Maybe 1 Huma huma and that it for triggers in your 72g

I hear ya. I did the same thing with my purple tang and foxface and the next thing you know they are pacing back and forth and only take 2 secs to swim from one side to the other. I had a blue hippo that I couldn't wait any longer and had to give him away about a year ago. Hence my upgrade from a 75 to a 220.

How many total triggers do you have? I miss read your list thinking you only had 3 total.

sounds like a nice upgrade....

I am starting to think my fish are retarded. I watch the weirdest thing almost everynight. They seem to roll in a pack. It starts with the Wrasse, he seems to be very good at finding food and appartently the rest of my fish are aware of this too. Anyway wrasse leads, followed by purple tang, then flame angel, then Picasso, then blue throat, and followed up by the pink tail. I know it sounds dumb but it is the same exact order everynight....without fail.

Probably a good time to let the cat outta the bag....that first pic is a panoramic pic of my tank. I only have 1 of each trigger on the list. Just wanted to see what people would say to someone who appeared to have 7 triggers in a 72.

With that being said, what can I do to increase the filtration to support these fish for the time being?
