Did you save the corals or will you be selling them? What are your plans to fill in left side of tank? Your tank looks awesome by the way.

A little of both. I took out one giant rock where everything was growing and fighting, and re-scaped with smaller rocks, digi Monti's in back, red planet plum crazy and sarmentosa acros in the top middle, and in the front/lower area pectina, setosa monti, and birdsnest, then some strawberry fields cap on the bottom front. I'll get some pics soon.

My new frag tank tank set up. I though the rack was a good idea but after cmac and moving a couple hundred frags out one at a time, I'll be renovating those already. Straight from the tank to the cooler style frag racks are forth coming.

Made some zoas garden modifications today. Pics forthcoming. Still need to figure out a way to clean up the sand bed area. Getting tired of corals in the sand.

Heres a recent video instead of pics. I actually cleaned up the sandbed a bit since this and found a better place for the elegance where I don't need to shield it from the flow.

Yeah No skimmer on this tank. Starting to do more water changes though. Not by much.

So around Feb 18 my kids got a hold of Windex and sprayed A LOT all around the tank. Next day most sps were not looking good, ended up moving many acro to another tank. Saved about 75 percent of corals I would say all said and done but many are still healing from this and or on the fence. I'd call it a mini crash.

It's inspired me to get to a sump renovation including swapping out the 55 for a 75 and adding a 40g tall diy acrylic tank as a deep catch basin for the drain water. The idea is that it's so deep detritus will settle out and can be vacuumed routinely. So far is working well.

I just stumbled across this and I love the dimensions of your tank! I hear you on the sticky kid fingerprints too lol. I was wondering how you are still liking the sand you used. Have you noticed any issues with it after using it for so long? I really like the look of it
