I have decided to part with my prized triple head scolymia. I have only ever seen two other triple head scolymias, and they were both featured on advancedaquarist. This is definitely an extremely rare opportunity for a serious coral collector. Here are a few pictures.

In addition to the multiple heads, the color pattern is unique as well. You can see the rim is a purplish and fades to red toward the center.

Price is $450 shipped
Payment can be sent via Paypal to [email protected]

Shipping info:

Priority overnight for 10:30am delivery to a confirmed address. First payment reserves the coral.

Thanks for the input, but this is not an ID forum. Anyway, acans don't split polyps to make new ones...they grow them individually.

Ok man well I was super interested because I've been on a scoly binge lately. Sorry for asking a question that would've probably led to me buying it. Glws lol.

Back on topic.
A few bits of info I forgot to add earlier. I'm located in Central Fl. If you're local I'll subtract the average shipping cost to give you a fair deal. PM with any questions.
Thanks.

I'm sorry but that's not a scoly. It's a lobo and I know this isn't an ID form but people should know what they are buying.

Here is a link to the advanced aquarist write up showcasing two other triple head scolymias. If two heads are better than one ... — Advanced Aquarist | Aquarist Magazine and Blog
Please pay specific attention to the last scoly which is referred to as a "grade A" scoly and you will see the similarities. If that isn't enough, please know this scoly I am selling here was bought by a retailer here in central Fl directly from ACI aquaculture...the same wholesaler that is featured in the advanced aquarist write up.

Say what you want, think what you want, but if you're not a serious buyer and just want stir up trouble please take it to PM.

Thanks.

It certainly looks like scolymias to me. Good price, due to their rarity. GLWS, sincerely.

yeah I have a scoly that looks just like that but is a single...lol. I guess if people haven't hear of things they think they are fake... cool coral!

Any ID without skeletal and underside inspection is just a guess. There's no need to get rude with it people. I've seen A LOT of corals over the years, and I'd go with scoly over lobo because of the shape of the corals polyp and the growth formation. Also if its attached to a rock like it appears to be you'd never see a lobo like that.

Sorry man thought someone should defend your ID
