Does anyone have the formula to make a 16 or 32oz of this solution for dosing? I want to increase phosphate by .03 per 1 ml dosed? ( I have a 40 gallon)

Use this calculator for potassium phosphate and use 77% as much (so if it says 1 gram, use 0.77 grams).

Does this seem right?

For 200 gallons if I add .05 grams of potassium phosphate this will give my tank .05ppm of po4? Or roughly .03ppm of po4 from sodium phosphate

Older post but is the 77% factor because trisodium phosphate is more potent than potassium phosphate? Does the same rule apply when calculating sodium nitrate using the potassium nitrate calculation? Thanks in advance.

Same idea, different ratio. You use 84% as much sodium nitrate as potassium nitrate. So 0.84 times a potassium nitrate dosing value.

Randy, I've seen several phosphate containing compounds mentioned in R2R as a means to safely dose phosphate. In your opinion the TSP is the way to go?

I know this post is old, but food grade sodium phosphate is a good way to go. It could be trisodium phosphate, disodium phosphate or monosodium phosphate.

Thanks for the response, Dr. Farley. I got the TSP, but before I could dose, my phos went up, so now I'm working to mitigate that.

So my NYOS PO4 test kit last night said I have 0 PO4. While I am dosing carbon to reduce my nitrate.
This seems to be doing very little or has stalled.
Do I need to increase my PO4 before I will see a reduction in Nitrate?
Do I aim for the the 15:1

If so can I use this product. It looks ok
