tritan sump

for those who have converted to tritan and have bought a trigger tritan sump do you have any regrets switching over and not using filter socks any notice of diminished water clarity or anything I have always used filter socks so will be a big switch for me

The first sump I bought was a trigger triton with the hopes of doing the triton method from the start. Unfortunately due to tritons inability to keep product stocked I never started it. I still used the sump and my water clarity is fine but I will say I get quite a build up of detritus is the refugium section.

I will look for some kind of diy sock holder to run your pipes on it. Not preach but work until You get your triton. Something like this

When I build my sump at the beginning of the year I build it with Triton in mind but I build a remobile sock holder just in case. I’m glad I did that
