Triton 3b - On its own

If my Calcium is at 480-490 and my Alk is at 7.1 Can I dose only the Triton 3b to raise my alk without worrying about raising calcium anymore? I read in the past that the 3b was soda ash plus trace and the 3a was sodium bicarbonate. Is that still correct?

Is there another easier way to just raise alk only and not raise Calcium ?

I have some spare 3b so it would be cost effective if this is correct.

I don’t know what else is in 3a and 3b but triton has said on their forum here on r2r that 3a and 3b are now exactly the same.
