Triton Base question

I've been dosing other methods for a few months with mixed results. I'll admit dosing my smaller water volume (reefer 170) is a challenge. Not a ton of live stock and main goal is constant alk. Tim at Triton told me other methods may be too concentrated and I might find Triton base a little easier to use since you dilute the chemicals. This makes total sense. My question is the fuge. I have a DIY reactor but no space for anything bigger. Does Triton base require the larger refugium like the core 7 does?

Why don´t you just dilute the Core7 other methods with RO/DI water if it difficult to dose small volumes?

I will do that with what I have left. My thought was if the other line is meant to be diluted I would rather use that. Only issue is the refugium. Or I just start a bigger tank and put this whole thing to bed!
