Does anyone knows if this lowers the salinity ?
Reason for asking and I might get chewed up, but my corals stopped growing, stopped opening up for months now. A few of the same kind was browning out while others are doing fine. Did numerous WC, up to 80% on my 220 and 28 g nano. (I used the water from my 220 to start the nano and put some frags in there to see if they would grow)
All my parameters are within range. Changed my lights added more flow still nothing. So after reading like crazy I decided to search for metal by putting a magnet on a stick and I found a screw in my tank.
I purchased the detox and added it on may 30 to my 220 and my nano. Today I noticed the nem in the nano closed up completely. I check my salinity and it was around 1.021.
I did a water change and brought it up to 1.020, tomorrow I will do another and bring it up to 1.023.
Thanks
