So I'd hate to post this as I tried my best to find the solution myself, but wanted to check here before I switch over to triton this weekend.

Effectively I want to dilute triton core 7 so I can dose smaller doses multiple times a day.

Standard dose is 2ml/100L
If 3a and 3b are combined (as mine will be, due to only have 3 dosing containers) then the dose is doubled, meaning 4ml/100L, correct?

If I then dilute all parts by let's say 50% I would have...

Part 1 -1500ml - 3ml per day
Part 2 -1500ml - 3ml per day
Part 3a -1500ml - 3ml per day
Part 3b -1500ml - 3ml per day

Part 3a&3b combined - 3000ml - 6ml per day

Am I correct in saying that if I did this, part 1 and 2 would be dosed for 3ml per day, and I could combine part 3a and 3b into a 3000ml solution that I would dose 6ml per day?

I'd also like to know if this scales with any dilution factor.

Thanks in advance!

If you dilute by 50% you need to dose double the amount.

2ml a day would become 4ml a day for the 50% diluted 1 and 2
Combining 3a and 3b would be 4ml a day and thus 8ml a day if you diluted 50%

I have seen other threads on reefers who are choosing to dilute Core 7.

I simply dont understand the reasoning behind this.
Is the purpose being concerned of momentary spikes or lack of stability?
unless you have a 1 gallon Nano or something I just dont understand the theory.

Then there is another side of the coin where reefers dose parts 1 and 2 during the day only and Parts 3a and 3b at night.
The belief is thats when the corals need/use those individual solutions, of make the best use of them.
