I've been dosing other methods without issue for a while. I recently lost a few sps tips and when looking into it one dosing line wasn't pushing product. That's been corrected but can someone identify if it's the Alk additive that turns white when dosed? I dose in equal parts but when I primed the line that was having the issue it turned white as it hit the water. I'm not sure if the trace elements will do this?

High pH additives will cause local precipitation of magnesium hydroxide, Not all alk additives are high pH, but all high pH solutions are alk additives. So in short, yes, that’s the alk part.

I think I got it! Lol! So it would not be one of the 3a or 3b additives? I know these are trace elements. Just double checking. My intention was to add to my dosing containers left to right 1-3b...

Part 3a and 3b are the alk. Part 1 is Mg and Part 2 is Cal. All 4 bottles each have some trace elements in them.

Check out tritons website and the manual.

The Triton alk products are bicarbonate mostly, so do not boost pH much (if at all) and do not cause the local magnesium hydroxide precipitation. That would also be why they have two bottles, since bicarbonate is much less soluble than carbonate and cannot be made as potent.
