Just sent in my first triton ICP test on a 2 month old tank and I'm kind of confused on the results. Basically almost everything came back in the green. Aluminum was high probably because I had marine pure in the sump, so it has been removed. Iodine was a little low in the yellow range. Everything else was green.

In the "Help" section, it just told me to run some rowaphos to remove the aluminum. The part that is confusing to me is the "dose" section is completely blank. I thought they were going to tell me how to adjust my dosing? And what about about the low iodine? Did they mess up my results and forget to put what I was suppose to do?

I would not worry about aluminum too much. I would not try to chemically remove aluminum. I think whatever you use would remove other elements also making for a worse end result. Aluminum should decline with water changes. You can accelerate the process by doing a few large water changes.

Water changes should elevate iodine. You can get iodine test kits and supplements. If low levels persist, you can dose to maintain levels.

i would suggest being judicious in your approach. Neither situation is critical. Taking drastic measures will almost certainly make things worse.
