Zinc, lithium, and molybdenum. Where are these coming from? I'm guess my RO water. I dose Red Sea reef energy, use reef crystals salt. Any input appreciated. Will carbon absorb these elements?

Lithium is no concern at that level.

Have you been dosing potassium?

Any metal parts in or near the water?

Yes dosed k+ with Red Sea colors program. Need to cut back on that.

I have a brass fitting on the end of my dosing tubing to weigh it down. You think that could be the problem?

Looking at the ingredients of my Red Sea additives i have quite simply overdosed my tank I believe

If it ever touches the water, it might be. Or any flaking or dripping corrosion.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
