Hi everyone, I recently have been having problems with my corals lately and couldn't figure out why. Eventually my friends convinced me to do a triton test and my results were quite surprising.

My results were

how do I add the triton results onto the page? Sorry, I am still learning my way around the forum.

I downloaded the results as a pdf and it says the file is too large...

Do you have a way to scan smaller parts of it?

Or clip them out and put into smaller files, like with powerpoint to make jpegs.

ok, I found a loophole.

Here is the results for one tank

My most concerning thing is the high levels of lead in both aquariums, and the fact that there are a lot of other elements that are skewed as well.
Do you guys have any ideas how I can fix this???

Lately I've added acropower, several aquavitro supplements, me corals alkalinity. I use pura carbon, and my calcium reactor used arm, but I was advised to switch to reborn so I did.

I use calcification, vibrance, and fuel. There is no corrosion that I can see. How would remove all these elements from my system?

Triton detox will remove heavy metals such as the zinc, maybe lead too. I have no experience with lead but it definitely works for zinc and copper. Stop adding anything else to your tanks.

Large water changes is the only thing I can think of to remove the iodine, which should theoretically remove the other problem elements as well.

Speaking of water changes, what are your tds readings on your rodi? Last ro change?

^^^^ this is a good way to start^^^^^^
Do this for a month and do another triton test, if stuff stay the same or it just not going to clear out you have something leaching into your water, broken pump, broken heater or who knows!!.

Tds is about 10 to 15, yea that sounds like the only way. It was just really surprising to see those numbers in my systems.

That could be the cause of your issues. I would find the cause of that! Then start water change.

Are your ro and di needing to be changed? Setup incorrectly? You should be able to get closer to 0 tds.

I get crazy seeing 1 or 2 tds. I have sent out samples to triton with fresh made rodi with 1 tds and copper and zinc were present.

I hope so, since it would be the easiest way. I will change my rodi soon and see what happens.

Don't forget to change the flow restrictor at the same time. I just figured out my waste water is pumping out almost the same rate as my good water. I skipped replacing the flow restrictor last time.

And, what's up with that calcium number, too? Are you testing for calcium? If so, do you mean to have it that high?

But, you have a nice low lithium number. What salt do you use?

Do you think salt brand has a major effect of lithium? My first triton test I did not have elevated lithium after 2 plus years using red sea regular. My changes from then on were to treat tap water as the poison that it is, meaning better maintenance of ro filters, stopped using tap water to thaw frozen food, and stopped using tap water to store live black worms. Thats about it, and now lithium is rising quite a bit in my more recent tests.
