Sent my first sample to triton via first class usps 2 1/2 weeks ago. was to arrive in three days (Miami to California). Just got the notification from them today that my sample arrived. Is this typical? Will the results still be valid?

I do not know how typical it may be, but generally it should not be a problem to sit in a closed vial for a few weeks, at least for anything above the trace elements. For trace elements, there is always potential for bacterial uptake. I really do not know how significant that is without seeing comparative data.

You're welcome.

Good luck. :)
Hello Randy I have test results some are high Copper 14.90,Lithium 326 , Bromine 96.70 . Would those results indicate that a magnet was leaking? New to r2r i hope i posted in right place thank you for any help you can offer.

The bromine and lithium are common and not a concern.

The copper is more unusual and may be a concern. It can come from many sources, not just magnets (not sure if magnets are even a common source).

Tap water, brass exposed to tank water, metal part fell into the water, etc.

I sent in my sample in about 2 weeks ago. I received a notification that it arrived 4 days after I dropped it off in the mail from Michigan. Then it was completed about 3 business days later. My last test I sent in was about the same turn around time.

Thank you r.o water tested no copper at all. I had a few magnets holding frag racks but you think magnets would not of leaked copper?
