i have been using triton method for a couple years now and am considering switching to another brand. I have not experienced good growth of SPS. It could be do to other issues but I have have had issues keeping my permaters stable. The dosing of the CORE is highly concentrated and can easily get out of whack of you dont monitor closely. Found that I need to dose ALK higher than Calcium or calcium shoots up above 500 very quickly. My magnesium also shot up above 1600 with modest dosing. I realize these are quality products and I am responsible for the issues. I do use DOS pumps and apex. But I am just saying there is little room for error. Everyone says stability is the key. I am also not comfortable with the recommended Dkh of 7 when most siccessful reefers are closer to the 9 range. For that reason I am now dosing alk at higher levels than calcium to see if growth improves.
