So I see the Triton method tells one to aim for a dkh of 7.0. I've been running my tank for several months with no water changes, and my dkh hangs around 8-8.5 and doesn't seem to go any lower. My main concern is I'm missing out on trace elements and my corals aren't getting everything they need. Does anyone know if I should continue to wait longer for my all to drop?
As of now my corals still look fine and am running a mixed reef of lps, sps, and softies. My total water volume is 52 gallons.
