triton method sumps

k so im starting a new build 120 gallon mixed reef wanted to get the triton34 sump 4 da triton method but brs says its rated for 100 gallons contacted triton they say as long as my refuge is close to 10% its ok but now my second problem is my vectra m1 its the same size as the return section on the sump so do not want to purchase it and wont b able 2 use it could i get the saphire39 n still do the triton method even though the refuge is not first

I have a Trigger 39 Safire that I am running with a fuge the water is not real hi but it works, I also have one of the Trigger 44 triton sumps but it's still in the box waiting on my new tank to arrive

when u say the water is nit high do u mean n as far as the saphire39 do u think i can still use the triton method n if so which of the additives i use core7 base original base or other nethods

ive used the other methods on my 57 because of no refuguin but the saphire39 has a refuguim i spoke wit mark from brs he told me i had to use the other methods because technically the saphire39 is not the traditonal triton method a little confusing because it has a refuguim i contacted triton they didnt say which of the additives to use but they did say it wont b as affective because the refuguim is n da second chamber still dont understand at end of the day it has a refugium so wats the big deal will it work or not

I put mine in the first section mine is a 39

Oh I know that's a bad picture but that is a very large skimmer it's a Lifereef and it fits

No it doesn't seem to affect anything. and like I told you this skimmer is large, I can't remember the dimensions but if you look up Life Reef it's there standard 250. on my new build I bought a Deltec because it's smaller hope it works as good

Could always order a custom/stock sump from Advanced Acrylics. Mine works great.
