I'd like to start the triton method on my 400 gallon mixed reef. Water changes are pricey and are not giving me the stability I want. The thing is I love my calcium reactor with is maintaining my Ca, Mg, and dKH very well at minimal cost. Triton doesn't list it's ingredients on the bottles of its Core7 line.
Obviously, I don't need the Ca, Alk, and Mg supplements.

My Chaeto is growing well. My Triton test showed low potassium which I'm fixing with a DIY supplement.

Don't get hung up on these so called "methods" Use what works and makes sense to you. You can pick and choose whatever tools are out there at your disposal.

How’d this turn out?
