Triton method with GHL

Hello to everyone,

I would like to ask if anyone is dosing full Triton method with help of kh director? I assume I will need 2 dosers and 1 kh director. I am wondering if anyone can explain how it works for that particular method? Thanks

I was doing Aquaforest 3 part controlled by the KH Director. I set up adaptive control and had the dower adjust the dosing amount by the alkalinity vaule.

Here was an older screen shot of it adjusting the dosing when I was first making adjustments and my aklikoty was above my set point.

I use the KH Director this way for almost 2.5 years so the our any issues kept all the parameters inline. I would have continued using the KH but also been testing the ION Director which is now controlling the calcium and mag and the KH Director is just controlling the alkalinity .

You are dosing balling ca , mg and alk? I will need 2 x doser 2.1 and 1 x kh right? Or i can use last 4th dosing head for dosing Na Hco3?

I always mix my Trito 3 a+b in one container and use the double daily dosage. It means - if I am dosing 40 ml Core7:1, I dose 40 ml Core7:2 and 80 ml Core7:3a+b and use 3 pumps. If I dose according instructions I would dose 40 ml for Core7:1, 40 ml for Core7:2, 40 ml Core7:3a and 40 ml Core7:3b - 4 pumps. But I have mix 3a and 3b in for 3 years now without problems.

Do you have the KH Director?
are you happy with how it works with triton

No - I have not the director at home. We run it at my job but only for monitoring. I think @Ditto have experiences with the director and automatic dosing.

Yes, than i will use it for monitoring tool and for dosing i will use 2.1 that is than ok for me. If i ever wants to dose 3 part than i can use kh director to control it.

You can do 2 part also, if they are suppose to be dosed equally then you can have it adjust both based on the aklikoty level. Mine was three part so calcium, mag and alkalinity were always dosed at the same level based on the current alkalinity.
