I brought Triton report errors to the attention of Triton back in April in the Triton forum but not getting any response or seeing corrections. Totally understand these kinds of things take time to correct but haven't heard any communication recently that a correction is being worked on. Last communication from Triton indicated it might be a browser issue - I've tried on numerous computers and browsers all with the same results. For $50 per test I expect these reports to be accurate.

Triton users can you please review the following thread and see if you are experiencing errors in your reports? Please note that these errors do not seem to apply to all elements (only a few actually) so please take a good look at all elements and don't assume if one if correct that they all are. If anyone else sees these errors can you please chime in to my thread in the Triton forum to help get this noticed for correction?

Two issues i'm seeing:

1) Lamp colors differ between web reports and download reports

2) The dark green lamp color doesn't correspond to the set point in certain cases. Notice the deviation is much greater in the second set but much closer to the dark green (set point) lamp color.

Begs the questions what is right here - the web report lamp, the download report lamp, the set point?

I think the lamps should generally be ignored and you should focus on the actual result numbers.

There's nothing magic about the Triton set points. It is often not the NSW level and may not be your desired set point. It is just one opinion on what is desirable.

In addition, if there was an update to their reports, you likely wouldnt see it in an "old" test/report - only in the reports made after the update was made.

Hmm, I thought their whole thing was to match natural seawater like mentioned by them in this thread and elsewhere? https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/o...ere-geographically-do-these-come-from.354201/

But regardless, Triton needs to fix their reports. I like to be able to glance at the lamps to I generally understand where my tank is at relative to consistent set points (whether natural seawater or some other variation). I don't really want to have to study every element to understand what threshold is acceptable. That's what I pay Triton $50 per test to do for me. If the lamp shows red, I expect that to be valid and not a report error as shown above.

Understood. The figures shown above are from a June report, well after first reported and acknowledged by Triton.
