I got my Triton analysis this morning and its showing the following.

0 iodine
0 manganese
0 zinc
0 vanadium
0 nickel
Elevated iron

The only things I I have any sort of idea about are the iodine, manganese, and iron. I've recently been having trouble keeping chaeto alive and I'm guessing it's due to the low iodine and manganese ?

I have a 90g system and I do weekly 15g water changes using tropic Marin pro, dose 13ml of ESV A&B daily, I run filter socks, a skimmer, a macroalgae reactor, and I have a marine pure block in the sump.

My parameters are fairly consistent
Alk 9
Ca 460
Mg 1350
Nitrate between 5 & 10
Po4 between .01 and .05

I'd like opinions on which of these elements I should be dosing and what to use ?

I dose iodine, manganese, zinc, and vanadium. I believe these are all important in biological processes. I avoid dosing nickel, because I’m not sure it helps, and higher levels can be toxic.

I’ve found the dosing guidelines to be very accurate when used with the Triton supplements, and have had no problems reaching target levels.

I’d recommend dosing the recommended amounts, then wait a month and send in another test. When that comes back, again dose the recommended amounts, and from there divide those recommended doses by 4 and dose once a week ongoing. Then do another test to confirm the weekly dosing is keeping you on target, then you can start to test less often.

I've found dosing I mandatory if I'm not doing water changes. I've dosed Mn before but it wasn't critical like I was for me, dosage wasn't always called for either. I was never able to keep chaeto stably in my Pax Bellum reactor.
