I came back from vacation and the two corals I bought before leaving are still alive.

I am running po4 at .04 right now looking to get it closer to zero, but I don't want to reduce it too much just yet.

PO4 is fluctuating right now between .04 and .16 which has me puzzled. Maybe the GFO was exhausted and I didn't switch it fast enough. Added new GFO last night and waiting. I notice the birds nest was "Shedding" the polyps which concerned me into testing the system again.

Going to keep monitoring it, but time for a WC too which is over due by a week. (Going back to my 2 gallon changes)

well i can only say that I did the test before I left and last night. so two weeks?

Oh, OK. I was worrying that you meant over a day or even hours, which is likely testing error. Two weeks might be the GFO running out, as you suggested.

Yes, so now I need to figure this all out because I should be able to maintain the PO4 and Nitrates with my ATS. It appears not to be working and it is at least a 10X10 screen being lit by two lights. That part of the sump is full of nuisance algae.
