I broke down and ordered a Triton test on my year and half old take just out of curiosity. For the most part the tank is doing well, battling a little GHA from time to time. I have always ran GFO to battle algae becasue I understood phosphates were the main reason. I got me results back this morning and most everything appears to be great .... except Chromium, its REAL high. Could running too much GFO do this? How do it get it under control? I use Reef Crystals salt with 0 TDS water, run GFO, carbon, kalk, and dose 2 part. Other than skimming and bi weekly 20% water changes that's all i do to my tank. No need for carbon dosing, my nitrates are barely detectable. Is this fixable with water changes? How can I find the source? I am not sure what my next steps should be, or is this even an issue?

That's good news! I did have a rusty metal clamp in my system for a while but it has been gone for about 6 months. All plastic clamps and zip ties now.
