I received my results back and was looking for some insight. Any help would be appreciated.. First thing I need help with is whats the best way to get my results in the thread?

What format did you get your results in? .pdf?

Some folks post screenshots of their results as well :)

Yup! Click the "Upload a File" button in between the "Post Reply" and "More Options..." buttons on the bottom right of the reply area at the bottom of the thread (It may be better to do this on a PC if you're using a phone). Find the results .pdf where ever you have it stored on your machine, then press "Open". You'll then need to post your reply in order for the attachment to show up for everyone else :)

Thank you!

Tin looks high and I'd look for sources. Copper too, but not as concerning at that level.

Magnesium is quite high (but not necessarily problematic). What salt mix are you using?

Potassium is a tad low and I might raise it.

Two weeks ago I found that my "Two little fishes" algae clip had some rust on the inside. About the diameter of a pencil eraser. Did a 25 gallon water change on the system right after. Could that little bit of rust cause those numbers? Copper unless related to the rust I would have no clue where to look... The salt mix I am using is Ocean Potion by BTAC ( I noticed on another thread you said you have never heard of it before) In regards to potassium what product would you recommend? Obviously a test kit if I do dose, which do you recommend? Magnesium high is funny because Ive read so many threads on red sea test kit giving false high readings but this comes in right where my test is.

Phosphate is very low. For me this would be at least a yellow light or rather even a red light.

I'm not sure how I should raise it. I feed pretty heavy. Maybe remove some macro algae?

Dosing is easy, but less export or more feeding can both work is nitrate is not already too high. :)

You don't use a phosphate adsorber? Macro algae like Chaetomorpha mainly remove nitrate. For the moment I wouldn't remove them.

How is your tank doing? How does it look like? Dense growth of SPS can remove a lot of phosphate. If they are adjusted to the low phosphate concentrations it might not be a problem, then just take care. Look for STN, especially from the base, and burnt tips. Avoid nitrate or amino acid dosage even if the values are "0".

With less export, would cutting back skimmer operation be helpful? If so, how much should I cut it back? In regards to the tin do you think the eraser sized rust mark on the magnet is enough to cause those levels of tin and copper?

I have two montipora one is looking fine the other not. The one not looking so hot was added before i found the rusty magnet. LPS and softies are all doing well. I do not dose anything other than adjustments for calc and alk.

This might mean that there was a change in water chemistry that caused problems to your older Montipora but I am not sure which kind of change. Might have been a drop in phosphate concentration, maybe something else. On the other side it could mean that your recent water chemistry does not cause problems to the newly introduced Montipora. It is hard to say something for sure with that little information. The analysis is a spotlight that doesn't show the complete image.

It may help that situation a bit, but IMO, skimmers are not mainly there for N and P export, so it wouldn't be my preference.

It's hard to know how much got released, and, of course, it depends on how big the tank is, but it is possible.

I had another test done this, time by ATI. My original test showed elevated tin, aluminum and copper. According to ATI copper is now 0, still showing tin, aluminum and silicon. I had my RODI tested as well, shows silicon and tin in the sample. Is this more likely RODI or storage tank related.? I am not sure if there is a way to post results for ATI like the PDF with Triton. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
