Hi there I am interested in getting started with triton but the issue I'm having is my sump setup. There is no way to move my refugium to the front of the loop, currently my refugium is being fed by my return pump at the opposite end of the sump. Will the triton method still work with this setup?

Just to clarify my system works like this:
Overflow > filter sock > skimmer > return pump > manifold to refugium, reactors, chiller & display.

My system is not ideal to what Triton recommended and I decided to give it a try before I spent money on another sump.

I have a Red Sea reefer 350 about 75 gallons display. My filtration is a Pax Bellum reactor and a small 2.5 gallon refugium. No filter socks

My sump is identical to yours Oveflow > skimmer, return pump > manifold to refugium, algea reactor which both empty back into skimmer chamber.

On my last Triton test P and P04 were lower than what Triton recommended.

IMO: Triton is a method that implies principles to reef keeping. The order of these principles is kind of secondary. With that light I think your order will not mater much.:D

I actually took that light out because it was loud, rusting and grew algea all over the sump.

I went with a Kessil.

Thanks for the input guys, sorry for the late response been distracted.. which triton core products did you end up going with? The core7 for non triton setup?
