Triton Switching From Bottles to Tiny Milk Jugs

First off I'm not a Triton user but it looks like Triton is changing their packaging from bottles to tiny milk jugs.

Just wanted to see Reef 2 Reef members thoughts and incite.

That’s really odd
Is it like the old school milk containers where u have to pinch the corners to get the fluid out? Or like the new containers that have a cap on them?

Either way I think it’s silly the dosing containers I use now are a tad smaller so I have about 50 ml left over if it’s the old style milk how would I save that without getting contaminated?

I am not a Triton user either but I think this is a good thing from a environmental perspective. Shipping the flat empty milk cartons to Triton from the manufacturer takes up less space than empty plastic containers so that is a significant energy saving as well as less particulate pollution from the trucks used for shipping. The cartons come from a renewable resource and can be recycled, they are also largely bio-degradable, so the impact of them as waste is less than the impact of the plastic containers.

Can you just pour it into a container of your liking at home? Seems like a good idea long term.
