So everything else looked great, besides my I is at 0!

Right now I am dosing Lugols but only at 1 drop a day on my 180 gallon, I know I should probably be dosing a lot more but I was playing it safe.

I am changing 20% of my water every week with Instant Ocean and dosing 2 part for alk/calc.

So now I really want to do something for I, but clearly it seems like Lugols does nothing or I am just dosing enough that the corals are soaking up within a couple hours.

I dose 3 drops lugols in my 120g so i think going up is worth the try. I never got a triton test but my acros grow generally well. Feeding more shellfish may help?

Yeah I may try that for a couple weeks and do another test to see what happens. What does shellfish have to do with iodine? I have never fed shellfish?

What does triton advise you too do .. I dose I as well .. 1.4 ml per week in a 90g .. I also use triton .. and normally I just follow their dosing advice then test again !

Haha i just meant shrimps like mysis. I think they have a decent amount of iodine in them possibly.

I dont use triton for any dosing, just to see how my tank is like 1-2 times a year. Triton says nothing about the I being low
