the typical sump design for Triton has return pump last so pods would have to get past skimmer in order to get into display, is this an oversight or a non issue? Triton method should embrace full biota not just nutrient reduction

I would still put the fuge last or at least after skimmer. I don't think it matters much to be honest for Triton's sake.

Pods can get past a skimmer and a return pump, they have for decades. I don't think it's an issue.

A skimmer skims very little of the water passing through the sump.

My skimmer section is first but I still see pods swimming around in there with the skimmer. Granted they are the larger amphipods but they are not getting sucked up. I dont think it matters either.
