3A = Alkalinity + Traces Number
3B = Alkalinity + Traces

That’s what the manual says and you need both. They can be combined before dosing but you have to dose equal amounts of each of the 4 parts.

I'm a little curious about this.
I imagine one is sodium carbonate & the other sodium bi-carbonate.
Or is there something more mysterious & magical going on there?

I'm still not clear on this situation when I see it happen.....how do you get all the stuff listed in post# 1 and not know what it is/what it's for?

Isn't the "triton method" supposed to tell you that???

How did you know do buy it in the first place if you didn't know whether you needed it/what it's for???

Tagging along since I definitely don't get it.
