Trochus hitchhiker ID?

I was moving my reef creatures to a new larger tank (yup, definitely bit by the reef bug now) and I found this hitchhiker on my trochus snail. I've removed it but I'd love an ID if anyone knows.

looks like a pineapple sponge, harmless filter feeder.
