Thoughts? My one and only in the system. It's not dead, I flipped it over and got a response when I flicked some sand off, but despite placing on a chunk of sea lettuce, it won't do anything. Just camped out... worried it's dying. Been 24hrs or so of nothing.

Parameters are steady 0/0/5/8.0 1.024 and I don't have test kits for anything else. All other occupants are fine (fish, crabs), other varieties of snails (nerite, dwarf ceriths) inclusive.

Just having a bad day? Grumpy snail?

Bumping the salinity to 1.025 1.026 might help.

I should add, it’s been in the tank for over 2 months and was active (relatively).

I was keeping salinity on the lower side while stocking fish so acclimation was simplified (LFS is 1.023). I didn’t know snails liked it higher.

I have noticed that every once and a while they just seem like they r dead, but then the just get up and are fine a little while later, go figure. I have way more than is recommended in my tank as they breed, so I have around 40 in my 120 gal tank.

CUC is sized for 20g but in a 50... though indeed algae supply is low, so I’ve been clipping the aforementioned chunks of ulva onto rubble.

I guess I’ll just wait it out, was mostly worried it was a canary and action required.
