I'm not sure to be honest. I never thought about how much effect dead snails have on the bioload, maybe that's why my tank crashed

Leave him for the hermits. Provides food and shelter. But monitor your parameters. Anything is possible in this hobby.

I thought that might be whats happening, because none of the hermits have gone near him but they did kill my nassarius
