Trochus snail

Not sure if this is considered emergency but added trochus snails in and the first one is doing fine has moved around and stayed in glass however this second one hasn’t moved and looks very weird even gave off weird substance? Could I received a dying little guy? Please help

attached is the snail on left and the one that’s alive and well on the right. Also I zoom in on the weird yellow substance

Yup she’s a goner smells gnarly. I think the lfs sold me a dead one because looking back now she was picked off the bottom off the tank
