Mag? Cal?
Phosphates are still a little high, and ph a bit low

I'd give it at least some flow, it will keep infection away and you don't want to put a coral in a spot where a bunch of detritus is gonna settle
I do agree though that an iodine dip could help

Looks like it receded on u. Did it look like that when you bought it?

Yeah, that's why I started the thread looked like that from shipping. I'm trying to get it to turn around. Have gotten mixed advice on lighting ......

Sorry, mag 1400, calcium 350. It's in a good spot getting some but not to much flow. Have it next to my Miami and a 3G mummy that came as boogers and are doing great now. So I figured it was a good location.

For what its worth, i have all of my chalice under LED and I have very little white come on. Its almost all blue and ramp up to 60% with low flow. I also try and keep my ALK up around 8.5 and all of mine are doing very well, no trops overdose though so take it as you may.

Yeah I'm running all blue 60% and max whites at 30% but it's in a shaded area. I have about 7 other chalices all doing fantastic.....

This my 3rd and final trop overdose all seem to do the same thing. Frustrating

Yeah I try to feed the hell out of it and it won't eat. The chalices around eat up.

How long do I dip for?

Hmmm, I use the reef dip, which I believe is made by seachem...I do 10 minutes and it's a light iodine solution...idk if that changes if you're using something else

Have you gotten all of these frags from the same person? If so they might be sending you fresh cuts, or they may not be taking proper precautions to ensure the safety of the chalice during shipping, so it could be getting damaged in shipping, thus leading to its decline due to infection. Don't know what else it could be, it's really odd

Yes all are from the same place, very reputable and package well.

I must just have bad luck..:(

Mine is completely shaded. Im on my third frag, and its surviving. I personally dislike this pain in the butt chalice. Best advice is to watch it and if it is receding shade it and forget it.

Ive only had mine for about a month but heres my take on this one. I didnt know how much light and since ive had some chalices hate my leds I put in the cave with my convict chalice, which I have never fed. My trops overdose has small eyes compared to my other chalices so I doesn't get mysis or FM pellets like some of the others. My small eye chalices are mostly mucus feeders and pull in whatever small particles adheare to their mucus. Try rotifers or cyclopeeze or reef chili. With these types of chalices it can be difficult to tell if they're eating at all but the next afternoon I see them empty out and know they ate last night, even when I don't direct feed. If you've got pods they'll eat. If yours is a little stressed, it may not want to eat. Food makes up maybe 10% of their energy at most so don't worry too much about direct feed. It's probably not your parameters either as they are better than mine :)

I just realized I made a typo regarding my ph its 8.30 -8.40 ,

I thank everyone for your responses!!!!
