I was leaning towards getting the Aragasnow but would like to hear any opinions first. I'm not sure if the grains will be too small.

if you have alot of flow you are gonna want the miniflakes, i have two tunze 6105's and two 6055's and the miniflakes do not move.

I'm using the Aragasnow .... because I went with a dsb and also because I like the look of the finer sand better. I did, however, use a small amount of the flakes on the top layer to give a little variety and help keep the sandstorm down. I've been able to get the flow strong without a total sandstorm but it still does move the sand some and create it's own landscape - which I don't mind, looks natural to have some peaks and valleys. And I've also found that once the sand 'ages' a bit it moves around far less .....

Think it's going to depend upon what you like, and what you are looking for out of your tank and substrate......

We use a mix of Tropic Eden Reeflakes and Miniflakes and LOVE them.
