I see a lot of you guys on here use this. Are you using the Mini Flake or Reef Flake? Which do you recommend? Also, does it stay real clean, or is it prone to coraline and other algaes. Is it a better substrate for carbon dosers, as far as keeping it clean and white. I see photos of it in some of you guys posts, and it is really clean. I'm not a carbon doser. Thanks for the help

What's a carbon doser? Do you mean using carbon as part of your chemical filtration? I dont know of anyone that doses the tank with carbon, just use it for chemical filtration.

I use Mini Flakes and they work well. Don't get any Coraline growth on the substrate and it works well in a medium flow system. Stays pretty white in my opinion. Also the fact that I have LPS such as Chalices growing, they use the subtrate and seem to enjoy it.

I use the reef ales but I also like alot of flow in my tank. It does not create a sand storm I do run biopellets and sand does not grow any corraline algae
