Might not even be the right solution to your problem. Do you have anything else that is responsible for cleaning the water? Socks? Floss? Roller?

Carbon doesn't take care of the crap floating in the water. You need some type of filtration as I mentioned to do that. Do you have a HoB filter? Put some filter floss in there and change it twice a week.

GAC should remove that. Not the particulates.

I used rox .8 carbon and my water didnt clear of the yellow either. Ozone cleared it very easily.

Also keep in mind that organisms can yellow the water too like phytoplankton. Carbon wont remove them a uv sterilizer would though.
