Ive just been reading a thread over on ultimate reef about TMPR salt has PO4 in it, yet is advertised as no PO4.
Does anybody else who uses this salt notice it? I use it myself without issue and it seems to be a really popular salt, maybe it was just a bad batch or maybe its more than that.
Heres the link for those that are interested.

Cant believe no responses to this, i guess people in the US are happy there is PO4 in their No PO4 salt mix.

According to that thread the amount of p04 is so incredibly little that would almost chalk it up to just the testing. "I guess people in the US are happy". Why because no one responded to your post? Weird. As some also said, it could be the patch and a problem with that specifically.

Mmm, sarcasm. My point was there are ton of variables at play before one can blanket say "THEY'RE FULL OF BEANS AND LIARS!" which seems to be what you're getting at with this thread. My only point.

You ended with sarcasm so i started with sarcasm :)
I get your point on the amount as it will not make a difference unless its pretty high,
my point is that the salt is advertised as 'no PO4' yet there is PO4 in the salt which is false advertising, if it said 'may contain traces of PO4' then its a different story.
Its something i wouldn't expect from a company like Tropic Marin.

If it has phosphate in it it’s in the right amount for my corals. They love this salt.

So it’s sold under the Quantum name there?

No the thread was started by asking about Quantum salt as his TMPR had PO4 in it and was thinking of changing it to Quantum salt.

For what it's worth, I'll say that for me personally i never knew they advertised that, and it wasn't part of my thought when picking a salt. TMPR (and all their salts honestly; as i've used their Pro, Classic and Syn-Biotic Salts) mixes quickly, cleanly and with consistent levels from bucket to bucket which is why i use them. and honestly, that little doesn't concern me, as i'm sure a lot of salt brands out there, at least available to the USA masses, would have low levels as well.
