Trouble making fish

My ywg jumped in to the back Chambers and got stuck in the baffles enough to cause the ato to kick on and almost overflow the tank the fish went missing a week ago I tore the back Chambers apart this weekend to find him when I didn't I assumed he was dead but no today o had a near flood and then poof the goby was on the return chamber I know he wasn't in there when I was looking for him I had my girlfriend get a flashlight and help me look to confirm... Then today I got the text fish tank emergency tank was full to the brim not over flowing but so so close talk about stressful thought I had a dead fish then I thought I had an ato problem now I just have a fish problem it is the third time I've had to rescue him from the return chamber

Sounds like you need a lid! Mesh lid or something,

Should be able to cut it out so it sits where it just covers the tank and not the overflow allowing him to not be able to jump out anymore.

I have a mesh top but he keeps squirting through a less than quarter inch Gap at the back I left for the power cords...I moved the cords around and started pushing the lid to the back glass

He is alive and I'm sure the tank will survive just stressful when it's the first time everything happens

Get him a pistol shrimp friend if you don’t have one already. My pair never left one another’s side. Maybe it’ll deter the goby from exploring the chambers as he will be working 24/7 guarding the shrimp! Very cool symbiotic relationship as well!
