in that system you do one time adjustment which in your system would not be much.
then mix up a gallon of calcium, a gallon of alk, a gallon of mag dosing solutions.
then dose equal amounts of calcium and alk when the alk drops down. and dose magnesium after using up a gallon of the cal and alk dosing solutions.
in that way the tank is telling you when to dose by doing a quick alk test.
