The title says it all. I'm having a really hard time raising my nitrates and phosphates. I've been keeping my nose barely above the water by mixing and adding an insane amount of food into the tank.

I've seen people post on here about DIY ways to raise nitrates and phosphates.

Can anyone tell me what I need to order and from where would be best. Or link me to a thread with instructions. Any help is appreciated

Took me a long time to realize my refugium was sucking way too many nutrients out of my display. The food was that I had very low nutrients. Bad was that my corals were struggling and was struggling with cyano due to low nutrients.

Do you have a fuge? What are you using to export nutrients? Could be a source of your problem.

I use to have gfo along with a fuge. I have a skimmer but I haven't been using because of how low the nutrients are. I also removed the gfo. I'm trying to deal with cyano right now. The funniest part is that my chaeto hasn't really grown much in the past few months but my corals are struggling. Specially my softies and lps. My SPS look fine
