Trouble with trumpet coral

Ive had this trumpet coral for about 3 weeks and one head has been opening fine but the smaller head (which looked like it was splitting when I purchased it) has rarely opened fully. The last few days it was been even more shriveled than before. It appears that one side of the split might have no mouth and I think you can see the skeleton in the middle - hard to tell in these photos? I also noticed the little branching clear thing on the base of the skeleton this week.

Any ideas on what could be going on with this guy? Water parameters appear to be good other than nitrate, which is between 15-25 depending on how recent after a water change. Lighting is an AI Prime HD, at roughly 15% for about 6 hours a day. Other corals are seemingly doing ok.

Mine can also be temperamental sometimes opening and sometimes not , but I’ve found them too be almost bulletproof.. very hardy coral ,have you tried placing it a little higher in the tank ?

Could the white thing growing on the side be aiptasia?

When the lights go down low or out at night the tentacles should come out. If they do not come out it may be upset. If they do come out it is probably happy. The tentacles are pretty sticky and I would try to give it some shrimp pellets, brine shrimp or any other kind of food to eat.

Looks like a tunicate growing on the coral. Make sure its not getting to much flow.

Same thing has happened with mine skeleton is showing during middle of day it's fine and blooming but once blue show up they shrivel and there little tenticles don't pop out to catch food. I've spot fed ot and food just falls off. I've tried everything looked bright green now it brown with a little green.
