All,
I'm soliciting advice. My Gonio was doing great and all of a sudden it tucked up and has not come out for over a week. I have had a suggestion to move to lower light. It was in about 150 - 200 Par. I thought something might be bothering it at night, so I moved it to the other side of the tank. No difference. I moved it to shaded area now and nothing yet.

Any suggestions would be great. I tried to feed it reef roids in its current state. Nothing. My concern now is the edges are starting to turn black. I don't know what causes that. I thought if it just tucks in a while and still gets good light it would be ok over time. Anyone seen the edges of the stems start to blacken? I'm posting one good pic where it was doing great. And I have two other pics of what it looks like now. Sorry but I can't get much better pics with Iphone.

Gonioporas can be very finicky and either close up and die or close up but keep living for weeks or months at a time, and for no clear reason (i.e. other corals are doing great, etc.)
Moving it and seeing how it does in another location is ok but don't do it too much. 150-200 PAR should be ok generally.
