Hey all!
Good/bad experiences on true hallucination palys (other than the price lol)? Ive heard they are slow growers.

Im looking for some and cant find them ANYWHERE......

Almost bought some today at our local reef club conference. Seller did indicate they were slow growing, but I'm sure like everything else, it's system (tank) dependent.

I have some they grow all right they are just startijg to b worth the price they had to mature more to get patterns ive fragged it did all right ive had for like 4 months and have a couple poylps more

Thanks for all the input :)
Now if I could only find someone who wants to sell lol

I bought mine as a single polyp and within the first week it grew 2 baby bumps but 1 month later they haven't shown skirts or anything. Definetely a must have zoa.

Mine grow rapidly doubling about every month or 2. The problem for me has been fragging. I generally lose about 20-30% when I frag them. Otherwise Ive noticed they are more hardy than most other zoas that I have.

really...
that sucks. I havent lost any to fragging yet.

*any = random palys/zoas
never fragged these or had them yet LOL

I had a small colony of these the entire time my tank was running. At first they grew okay and I was able to take a frag fairly often. But, towards the end of my tank's life they stopped growing completely and stayed at just 3 polyps for many many months. They are hardy though

hahaha I guess so :P
This is the last of my "wish list". then I can just sit back and watch them grow :)

I said the same after getting these and speckled kraks, but I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to zoas. I have close to 100 different polyps now.

oh wow...

I have close to 30 different ones. Lately Ive been focusing more on LPS.
I found pink kraks not too long ago :) I like those and utter choas and electric oompa loompas

Had a hallucination once and in almost 6 months no babies. Slowest zoa ever
