Hi all,
I'l looking for a return pump for a 12 gallon nano cube that actually runs silent. I'm currently using a Sicce 1.0 (I've had a few) and they all produce a low frequency hum. My Sicce Micra produces the same hum. I have a Hydor Pico 180gph pump that runs dead silent but isn't powerful enough to use as the return pump. Are there any pumps under $100 (ideally under $50) that run dead silent and put out around 300 gph?

I use this on my waterbox cube 10

ehium pumps are good i have one in my pico and its good

I have the MJ606 as well. I don't hear it all on my desk tank when I am at my desk.

Thanks so much. I'll look into the MJ606. Would you say its about the same volume as a fan in the background, or is it more quiet?

Looks like they’re discontinued :(

Does anyone use a Jebao DC return pump? Any idea what the most recent model prefix is?

I use a dcp2500. It is dead silent.

The dcs1200 might be worth trying. I assume it's physically smaller than my 2500 - which isn't large - but 12g is tiny.

My Nuvo 10 has a sicce .5 and it's a trash compactor compared to the dcp2500 in the Nuvo 40

Are the new Sine wave Jebaos quieter than the previous generation? I’m looking at the DCP 2500 and running it at the lowest setting. I don’t think they make a “sine wave” pump in a smaller size

Do you happen to have the dimensions of your DCP 2500? I'm not sure if it will fit in the back chamber of my AIO

Hydor has larger pumps like your Pico 180 that you would probably be able to use.

I don't - I can try to pull it out and measure it tommorow.

Here’s the apex ready version. Dimensions are in the second picture. They also make a 300gph one which probably is smaller
