I recently was going to ship a peice of my trumpet coral to my brother. Before doing so I figured I would give it a good dip in coral RX to be safe. After I did the dip and rinsed, I notices it literally just looks like stone now on the branches after a few days back in my tank and still nothing. Please let me know if it is worth even shipping or drag off another peice for him??

What was the amount of coral Rx used in the dip?

Ya looks like they got burnt from the dip if they have been back in the water for a few days.

I would not recommend shipping if the coral is in a stressed state like that. Shipping can be hard enough and corals let alone if one is already stressed.

It can take a couple days to recover. You used SW only right?
